HI, I need some help. I am writing an essay about The Stand and I am desperate. There is a scene in The Stand complete and uncut version where Nick Andros suddenly realizes how awful it would be if he had gone completely blind, or at least I think there is one. If someone could give me a direct quote or even better the page number. I really need some help. Thanks

It comes right after the stupid Ray guy almost blinds him by punching out his one eye...he is furious because he realizes how f*cked up it would be to be blind AND deaf and dumb ina world where everyone is dead. You need the exact quote? I will look it up for you if you like.
