I change mine from time to time, depending on how I feel. Right now Duma Key has first place, knocking out Bag of Bones and Green Mile. Tomorrow, though, I may feel different.

I have not had the chance to read Duma Key yet. Waterstones bookshop had a first edition in there the other day with £6 off (only £12 after discount). I hope to read it soon.
Bag of Bones was a very good book.

I haven't read all his books yet but I would have to say right now that it's The SHining.

Desperation always comes to mind whenever this question is raised, but then I start thinking about others which makes it impossible to choose one. As mentioned above, Desperation along with its sister Ther Regulators are spectacular. Ditto nt07077. The Shining is brilliant. The end (in my eyes) is far better than the movie version. I seen the movie before reading the book and still believe the book to be better. Misery is another one of my favorites. I also really enjoyed The Dark Half. It kept me reading and I believe I lost sleep trying to get to the end as fast as possible to find out what happened. If we're talking of DT books, The Wastelands is definitely my favorite!

I like Dreamcatcher, closely followed by The Mist. I didn't like Rage. The other book I read was Blaze, but it was just like any other book. It was so-so. I got The Gunslinger, but I lost it and I'm bummed. I was about fifty pages from the end, and it was awesome.
